The programming, presentation, tools and channels are evolving with the mix and match art forms, technology and social media development, and audience appreciation and expectation. Creative and integrated art programming and audience engagement are new challenging roles in need.
Job Purpose: Our client, a well-established art and cultural organization, seeks qualified candidates to lead the role of Head of Programming and Audience Engagement. The role will define the organization’s strategy for art and cultural programming, audience and community engagement. He/she will lead the art programming teams to develop innovative programs and experiences that encourage and support the corporate mission in art, cultural and heritage development.
Requirements: Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree in Art History, Cultural Management, Museum studies and/or other relevant field, as well as a minimum of 15 years of experience in art programming, curatorial, exhibition management across visual and/or performing art. Exceptional art creativity, open and lateral mind-set, strong skills in project management, collaboration with various art disciplines, partners, and stakeholders are essential.
