The Opportunity: Chinese auction house is expanding their reach to the international market – in the context of consignment sourcing for art collectables for the fast growing high-networth Chinese and Asian collectors, as well as developing their international clientele.
Job Purpose: Our client, a leading Chinese Art Auction House, is looking for experienced, knowledgeable, and well-connected art management professional to represent the auction house in its business operation in the U.S. Responsibilities cover overall business management, client services and relationship, cross-border coordination of all auction and sales activities, legal and compliance, finance and administration, to marketing support, to shipping and logistics.

Requirements: The U.S. Regional Represtive would have to have valid employment status in the U.S., and with at least 10 years of art management experience in the U.S. He/she has to be knowledgeable and resourceful about the Chinese and the U.S. art and auction market operation, with excellent interpersonal skills and client service attributes. Moreover, strong cross-cultural communications skills with the Chinese headquarters, cross-border clientele, and the U.S. business and compliance bodies are necessary.
